Dental Crowns and Bridges

Restore your beautiful smile by replacing one or more missing or deeply decayed teeth with Crowns and Bridges. A crown is a cap that is cemented to a damaged or missing tooth. Bridges are used to replace multiple teeth that are missing together. Bridges are a great solution when the gap from missing teeth is surrounded by existing, healthy teeth. These solutions last for years, especially for patients with a good dental hygiene plan.

Reasons for Crowns

  • Broken or fractured teeth
  • Cosmetic enhancement
  • Decayed teeth
  • Fractured fillings
  • Large fillings
  • Tooth has a root canal

Dental crowns and bridges

We offer two types of crown material, Gold and Porcelain. Gold crowns typically replace the back teeth and allow us to keep more of the original tooth, as gold crowns are thinner materials. Porcelain caps are used for the front teeth — and often back teeth as well — and have a natural, white appearance, made to match your existing teeth.

A Bridge replaces multiple, consecutive teeth and requires adjacent teeth, the ones that hold the bridge, to be prepared like crowns.
